StellaFirma Strategies provides interim executive leadership and organizational consulting to nonprofits. We work alongside boards, executive teams, and leaders to stabilize operations, solve complex problems, and build what comes next.
Our founder brings more than twelve years of nonprofit leadership experience, including nine years at the ASPCA in progressively senior roles, and a track record of stepping into complex organizations and making them work better.
What makes us different is how we show up. We come in without an agenda, listen before we act, and focus on what the organization actually needs rather than what's easiest to deliver. We leave every engagement having built something that lasts.

Interim Executive Leadership
When a nonprofit loses its Executive Director, the board faces two urgent challenges at once: keeping the organization running and finding the right permanent leader. StellaFirma Strategies steps in as Interim Executive Director and provides experienced, impartial leadership during the transition period, conducts an organizational assessment, and helps the board prepare for a successful permanent hire.
Engagements typically run three to six months. We serve nonprofits nationally and across mission areas.

Organizational Consulting
For nonprofits that don't need an interim ED but do need outside expertise, StellaFirma Strategies offers targeted consulting in change management, organizational development, people management, and operational design. We work with executive teams and boards to diagnose what's not working and build practical, sustainable solutions.
